Given that I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m afraid the next \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcleaf is not exactly around the corner, I thought I would post some words of explanation and reassurance.<\/p>\n<p>The main reason I haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t been posting recently is that I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been working on a book.  Entitled <em>Getting Back to Music: A Dialogue about Music Appreciation<\/em>, the manuscript is in late-stage revision, and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll begin work soon on a complementary YouTube channel.  I plan to propose the book to publishers within the next year.  I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be sure to keep you posted!<\/p>\n<p>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve also been busy composing other works and performing.  My composition <em>Wings: A Collage<\/em>, for solo piccolo, was published last summer by Nourse Winds, and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been performing some recitals around Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>Rest assured, however, that I am hoping to begin revitalizing this site in the near future.
