The companion website for my music appreciation book is up.

Dear Albumleaves Listeners,
It’s been a while since I posted—far too long, in fact. Given that I’m afraid the next ‘leaf is not exactly around the corner, I thought I would post some words of explanation and reassurance.
The main reason I haven’t been posting recently is that I’ve been working on a book. Entitled Getting Back to Music: A Dialogue about Music Appreciation, the manuscript is in late-stage revision, and I’ll begin work soon on a complementary YouTube channel. I plan to propose the book to publishers within the next year. I’ll be sure to keep you posted!
I’ve also been busy composing other works and performing. My composition Wings: A Collage, for solo piccolo, was published last summer by Nourse Winds, and I’ve been performing some recitals around Virginia.
Rest assured, however, that I am hoping to begin revitalizing this site in the near future. It’s one of my life goals to compose “Albumleaf 500,†so I have no intention of stopping at 113.
All best,
David
